About Calee Pineda

Why did I become a therapist?

My journey to becoming a therapist is deeply rooted in my interest in how people navigate and make sense of various events in their lives.

From a young age, I have been intrigued by how processing experiences and emotions shapes identities and paths in one’s life. This curiosity, along with my own experience of facing life’s challenges, led me to a passion for supporting others in their respective journeys.

Throughout my life, I have witnessed firsthand the hardships and complexities people encounter. I have also seen how transformative it can be to have someone who

listens with empathy and walks alongside them with a strong sense of support and grace.

A goal of mine in the therapeutic relationship is to offer a hopeful light to those navigating paths of self-discovery. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where exploring thoughts and feelings, uncovering strengths, and achieving meaningful growth are at the forefront of our sessions.

In working together, finding clarity, building resilience, and fostering a sense of empowerment are important as you work toward a more fulfilling life. Each person’s journey is unique, and I am committed to walking alongside you with understanding and respect. I have worked with women’s issues/perinatal issues and have a deep fondness for holding these stories. I also enjoy working with individuals, couples, and teens through life transitions.

My approach is rooted in the belief that each individual has the capacity to do hard things. Through a combination of person-centered therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, we will identify and address any obstacles that may be holding you back.

I believe in the power of joy and laughter within therapeutic relationships. Integrating a sense of lightness and humor can often be beneficial in easing the process and making our sessions more enjoyable and effective. Whether you’re seeking support for managing anxiety, overcoming depression, or simply looking to enhance your overall well-being, I am here to aid in your healing journey!

You can often find me listening to a podcast with a good cup of coffee! I love spending time with my friends and family and value their support.
